Hi!
So much for your attempts to "clean-up" the chat...in attempts to get info about a comedy show at the Rain ForestTheatre next weekend....I went into the chat...and politely asked if anybody knew any of the info - I had tried the Wyndham, the Rain Forest Box Office and listening to 100 Jamz - but kept missing the advertisement.

The immediate response from somebody named "Bilu" was - "get ur stupid a$$ out this chat"....then I got told I was a "g@y nigga" and "didn't belong in here" and worse. I tried to explain....and the insults/accusations got worse....WHERE is/are the Chat Administrators?

I will tell you that someone named "Sweet_Passion" responded by saying...."all they had to do is tell you they don't know".

NO wonder Nassau is getting such horrible press - really, really, really ridiculous and sad - thanks for listening

With that letter coming in it serves notice to us on how we can be perceived. Chatters lets make our Chat welcoming to all, especially our visitors. Lets make it a better place for fun, jokes and at the sometimes stimulating, intelligent discussions yea :)

I could see if the chat was hosting the comedy show... then they would have cause to get ratid over not getting the relevant information regardin this particular event! This is amazing. I must say.

It does not matter if the comedy show was being hosted by this website of not, the point is that the culprits in the chat room are ridiculously ignorant and should be tarred and feathered. If this type of thing continue to happen then no one bahamian or foreign will want to engage in conversation with us. We like to push up our chest as if we have the right to call other names and cuss people out, but sooner or later the bottom will be pulled out of it ALL...THEN WHEN WILL WE CONVERSE. All we are saying is it is people like that that create a bad impression for others, i.e. the culprits that tried to kidnap fender. If a visitor asks you some information about the rain forest theatre, it is only polite and helpful to give the info. In the long run you not only help that person you help your self by making that person feel welcome. I try to act in the chat like I act in life. The only difference is sometimes I'm more frank.

Frist of all, this person's account is flawed because I do not see how a conversation can go from someone asking somethign POLITELY and then the very NEXt comment is them gettin cuss out in the chat. There must have been some exchange of words in between. Could it be then, that this angered individual asked and was innocently ignored and then got ratid and starting gettin an attitude THEN was cussed out? Frankly, the chat conversations are usually going so fast on a packed night that people cannot possibly read EVERYthing being typed. Could it be then, that what this individual - albeit a newbie - typed, especially seeing as hwo it wasnt flowing with the conversation, was one of those comments that was bypassed? In Fact, is IT the responsibility of the other chatters to faciliate the dissemination of information regarding social events? Come on folks, let's get over this ridiculous need to be catered to. Go and google, pick up a newspaper, call a local radio station if the chat members don't want to answer your question. Don't take your energy and waste it gettin mad. the sad thing here, is not that the chat didn't answer him/her. It IS HOWEVER, that this individual ACTUALLY seems to have gotten GENINELY ratid about it. Smt. Think on it.

I was having a friendly chat with another chatter and a young fool came in and started talking about woman breast. So I had to tell him off of course...then a day ago another chatter posted a picture of his private parts for everyone to see. So tell me what type of message is this sending out. Like Peasnrice said you should treat the chat room and visitors and if you had just met them on the streets of nassau. Let's face it the face this room should be fun for all as well as informative and comfortable....not a porn show or a bar scene.
