Easter in the Bahamas means Church, Easter Egg hunts, Time off from work and Fish. Fish you say? Yes Fish, because it is traditional to have Fish based meals during this holy holiday weekend. Maybe someone who is a bible scholar can tell us the origin of this tradition. I had other reasons, this girl I'm checking she wanted Fish! Bahamas White & Yellow Pages: Find Anyone living in the Bahamas. Fish in New Providence means, for most people, taking a trip to Potters Cay Dock located under the Paradise Island Bridges.
My visit to the Fish market and mini fish fry left me nonplussed. Yup, you das a big word I threw at ya. Go look it up LOL. Yea man, that place is pretty run down, when in fact it could be quite a tourist attraction and more vibrant market place if they cleaned it up a bit. I think the vendors there have asked for help to clean this up, but in the time being they still set up their stalls and sell their fish, vegetables and livestock there. How did this get this way? Anyways I did get my couple snappers and grunts. The darn Nassau Groupers were too expensive!
