Why is it that man have to control

Submitted by: Storm7 Mar 13 '11 What are your views on the below? Why is it that man have to control by Storm7 Men, men, men why do they have to be so hard headed. Everything has to go there way even if its the wrong way. they think just cause the bible says, "that the man is the head" they believe they run the show and thatwomen must not have any thing to say. I belive that women should have just as much rites in a relationship. If a man does not trust his girlfriend from the beginning of the relationship and after a year and a half he stil dont trust her and doesent want to leave her. why?Is there somethingabout her that he doesent want to lose or what? someone please tell me. Additional Comments from our Forums: Re: Why is it that man have to control by Nassaubey Storm, us reasonable men out in the world give our girlfriends in the relationship the respect where her what she thinks or wants counts. Only the hard head men go to that line about what they say goes. But its up to women to decide on the type of man you want, if you go an marry one a them hard head man then thats your choice and no use complianing, but if you dont agree with that mentality then come get one of us good men who use our heads a different way. Can you Cheat without Sex
Written by Admin
from MSN.com Feb 6 2010 Welcome to the age of the “e-motional” affair, where infidelity is just a click away and cheating has become easier than setting up a Wii. From iPhones and BlackBerrys to Chat Rooms, Facebook, Twitter and Craigslist, technology isn’t just enabling CHEATING, it’s accelerating it at record pace: Flirtatious friendships, emotional affairs, the return of the ex, sexting, online porn and cybersex — with each new advance in technology comes a new way to cheat, and more and more people are increasingly leading “Cyber double lives.” We provide access to such an online dating Chat Room at the following link. Click Here to ENTER the 3D Dating Chat Room and sign up Can you cheat without sex? And as much as I write and speak about it, I still get the same incredulous question from the guys: “Emotional infidelity? What the ---? Do you really think it’s possible to cheat without sex?” Response? Absolutely. Most affairs begin in the mind. Attraction is magnified by an emotional connection. When one partner starts sharing himself or herself with another person, it chips away at the foundation of their relationship — and starts building a foundation for a new relationship. Part of what makes a couple’s relationship special is the information they share only with each other. Some of it is seemingly meaningless daily details, like how bad the morning traffic was or what they had for lunch. Other times it’s deeper desires, fears and goals. But as an emotional affair progresses, less and less of a person’s sharing goes to his or her partner, and more goes to the affair partner. Click here to respond directly to this on the forums.. Internet Relationships: True Stories

How I married someone I met on the Internet by Arthia {mosimage} Nearly four years ago, I logged into a Yahoo chat-room after a dinner date with friends. I never imagined that a few clicks of my mouse would lead me to the man I would one day marry. Yet sure enough, that's what happened and today we still get raised eyebrows whenever people ask us how we met. Interestingly enough, I think we might have met later on in life. I had planned to take courses at universities in Montreal and then go to New York for performance arts. He lived in Montreal and planned to go to New York to pursue music. But before that happened, we met on-line through cyber-friends and found ourselves chatting away for 18 hours at a time feeding a wonderful friendship that turned into love. After a few visits back and forth, we decided to get married. Fast-forward to today, where we wake up with our 15-month-old daughter dancing on the bed with Dora the Explorer and Elmo from Sesame Street. Then around lunch time when we log on to Yahoo Messenger again just to say hi or to remind each other to pick up groceries or pay a bill before coming home. Is your Girl/Man Cheating?
Written by Admin
Submitted by: White_Diamonds00 Feb 21 '09 White Diamond talks about a service that helps Bahamian ladies find out if their other half is cheating on them. What are your views on the below? Do U suspect your guy/girl is cheatin? by White_Diamonds00 {mosimage} I had suspect that my man was cheating, a friend of mine linked this Exclusive Bahamian site to me. I spoke to the persons in charge, it took them 5 days to find out that my boyfriend was cheating on me. I am still hurting but i kno i will be ok...Ladies and Guys , if you ever have that gut feeling, its possible...i felt sick in my stomach when i saw and heard the photographs and recording off my ex.... I got justice and i am still hurting but i feel relieved in knowing! Click here to Read more... Replies continues below Chat ad..... Additional Comments from our Forums: Re: Do U suspect your guy/girl is cheatin? by Ocean13 Ya know diamond I have diagnosed your problem. You have 'sexy woman syndrome'. Sexy woman syndrome is generally seen in women who tink they are alllllllll that an a bag of chips an who genuinely believe that there shit dont stink. Persons affected with this ailment believe outritely that they are doing a man a favor by allowing him into their world, an that the poor man has to strive daily to prove himself worthy of the affected woman's attention an interest. Ladies an some men affected with this syndrome normally have a crew of ppl around them feeding their egos an constantly singing their praises, telling them how wonderful they are an how lucky the man or woman is to have been chosen to be in their world. I tink every relationship has its ups and downs, but persons affected with this ailment find it impossible due to their inflated egos to forgive the other party who remotely steps out of the bounds of the relationship, thus carelessly dismissing the 'offending' party as easily as they would brush a fly off a piece of pork chop. My advice to you is to get over yaself an accept the fact that we live in an imperfect world with imperfect ppl who will make mistakes. Your ex seems to have acknowledged his lapse in judgement but unfortunately becus of this ailment you seem unable to forgive. Persons who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. I say this becus Im sure during the course of the relationhsip you did some shit that mite be viewed objectively as stepping outside the bounds of the relationship, even though u may try to sugarcoat an excuse it. Ive found that what goes around comes around, an the same way how u dismissed this fella, some fella will dismiss you due to trust issues. Thats just how the world works. By the way the ppl from the agency who were counselling you were generally doing so as a mean to get in ya pants. Click here to read more... What are your views on this? Comment below:

The Solution to Crime in the Bahamas
Written by Admin
Submitted by: PeasnRice Oct 31 '08 PeasnRice's thoughts on how to solve the Crime problem. What are your views on the below? Crime Solution by PeasnRice {mosimage} Ok, listen it pains me to hear the political rants like this about Crime. Why not offer real solutions and lets vote on it. Lets have National Service Instituted. Why cant we have a system that says for all young people who come out of hight school you have 3 choices and you must do one: 1. Go onto further education/College 2. Get a job, and prove it by showing your NIB contributions 3. Join the National Service (paid salary) The above will solve our crime issues, our youth instead of being idle will become productive. So you say, what will they do in National Service. There are so many projects we can use our youth on; from building the country's infrastructure like roads, we have have them become a part of our Police reserves, become tourism ambassadors etc. How do we pay for it, we can either utilize increases in Sin taxes eg. increase taxes on alchol and cigarettes or utilize the National Service workers in industry where we get the private sector to help pay the cost of the labour. Listen, status quo is not working and hasnt been working for many years. If we want to get serious about CRIME we have to do some thing Different! Click here to Read more... Replies continues below Chat ad..... Additional Comments from our Forums: Re: Crime Solution by Sexy Thang i agree with you but they must also enforce the rules of the land , because the only reason we enn hangin is because or the christain council so whoever that person is that want the prime minister to resign is a goon cus that een ga stop crime .we tha ppl have to make a effort to stop it and stop covering up for our friends when we kno they doing rong and stop being petty ( stabbin in clubs and shit like that ) . Click here to read more... Re: Crime Solution by Ana I am a hard FNM... but seriously the NEW FNM aint cuttin it point blank. I can't believe Hubert Ingraham doesn't believe in the death penalty, where did this come from all of a sudden when in fact under the old FNM serious murderers were being hung left and right (especially if they killed tourists it seems) and now it's a different story. I firmly believe in the death penalty and I am a conservative person. I say where one is guilty let them suffer the consequence. Today jail seems like a vacation. Prisoners do nothing but sit around all day - thanks to humane advocates. Why treat people humanely when they perform inhumane acts? Why feed them curry if they should eat gruel? Whatever happened to hard labour? Here's my proposal on crime call it eccentric if you wish but hey crime is getting out of hand and with other industries (well mainly tourism) being affected by our crimrate (well pretty much murder) something drastic must be done. Some of these are actually practised today anywho and since the Bahamas likes to take the ideas of others instead of coming up with it's own .. these can be practiced. Traffic offenses - Offenders should be made to wear signs and go out on public intersections and still pay the fines and perform necessary community service. Why waste precious space in jail when they can really suffer grave humiliation at the hands of the public? Robbery- You lose one limb and if you continue you subsequently lose another until you learn your lesson. Rape - Immediate Castration! Why should instruments of crime be left in the possesion of criminals. They take knives and guns away, why can't literal biological weapons be taken? Drug Crime - same as Robbery and/or traffic offences. Or you can get a non-anethetised labotomy. Murder - Death Penalty... and for those who do not believe in hanging there is always death by firing squad, lethal injections, electricution, beheading or torture. People who have been accused of violent crimes guilty or not (most of which are probably guilty anyways) should not recieve bail at all. All offenders of the law should have a punishment directly proportional to their act. Click here to read more... What are your views on this? Comment below:

Re: Why women r so picky with men by Ocean13 Hmm you may say that women are picky but I beg to differ. Given all things being equal, a woman will select the most duttiest, ignorant, jive talking jackass in the room. Especially if this guy is driving a fast ass car with rims. For some reason women like to wallow in the hog pit, and get all nasty up with these kind of men. You may call the female selection of men of this type as a mistake or error in judgement to explain this consistent pattern of behaviour. But as i siad, women just like to wallow in the mud. Ya see there are countless good men out there, aspiring lawyers, doctors, indians and cheifs. But noooo, they dont select or pick these guys cus they too clean cut and ncie, they want, Nasty Bill, Or Muddafuka Willy, who likes to spend his days sitting on the blocks sellin weed an seeking at young gals. Dressing Sexy in the Club

A woman's privacy is gone! by Teshy {mosimage}There was a guy in that club taking photos and vidoe clips of the females dancing. Wat disturbed me about this was he was on the floor trying to get photos of under womans skirts and dresses. He was even taking photos of women in pants( wat can u see through a pants). I havent gone there since. It is a SHAME that a woman cannot put on a nice dress, go to a club and have a good time without worrying about seeing pictures and/or videos of herself on the internet a week later. Now i did not say pictures of the whores who expose themselves and were next to nothing so guys can take pics and post them on the net. How did we let Long Wharf beach become a cruising spot for Gays? The police officer confirmed that male prostitutes are selling sexual favors for money and not just 'cruising' for sex. An officer at the Fort Charlotte Police Station, which sits just opposite the seashore, told our news team: "Guys are sleeping on the beach. We have guys now who are male prostitutes that solicit homosexuals." Police said local men that sell their bodies for profit usually operate at Long Warf Beach during the early morning hours, sometime between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. WDF.. so if the Police knows this is going on how come they haven't clamped down on it?? Submitted by: PeasnRice Jul 07 '08 What are your views on the below? What caught my eye about this particular thread, are the faces of the accused men: The Scotia Bank Robbery by PeasnRice (excerpts from the Guardian) Two masked men were seen in the parking lot of the bank. "A security guard at [Scotiabank] reported that he saw people run in the parking lot. He saw two men approaching the bank, both armed, one with a shotgun and one with a handgun," Mr. Hanna said. "He closed the door and he took refuge with some of his colleagues. Shortly after, it is reported that these men approached the door, opened fire on the glass door, shattering the door and went inside." Mr. Hanna said a customer was shot in the foot during the shooting. He said once inside, the men robbed the bank of an undetermined amount of cash. However, the drama did not stop there. "In exiting the bank it so happened that two police women who were in this area doing other police duties heard a transmission on their control and because of their training and alertness these officers immediately responded," Mr. Hanna said. "Upon seeing these individuals one of the suspects trained his weapon on the car and he fired on the police vehicle, resulting in the officer receiving pellet injuries to the left side of her face." Continued from above: The acting assistant commissioner said the suspects, who were being transported by a third individual escaped the scene, but did not get very far. "As a result of the further quick response of our officers, we were able to take down all three of the suspects. During this, two of them were shot," Mr. Hanna said. "We now have in our possession three suspects. We also have one shotgun and two handguns. We also have a bag of money believing to be the property of Scotiabank." Click here to read more... Here are select posts from the BahamiansOnline.com forums: The Other Chat Room by Ocean13 Ya know at end of the day I am still a fan of Bahamiansonline and their peeps. I say this becus I visited that other so called Bahamians chat the other evening and man the immaturity level was at an all time high. When I took stock of the participants I saw why. Basically all the lezbians and jackasses who use to haunt BOL now haunt that other chat. So basically the only ting they discussed was how much they (the lezbians) want look up unda each other dress and have aids and who doesnt. And of course the male dialogue was simply of the variety of 'gimme some cunny plz, or plz gimme some bungy'. This was all well an good cus sometimes u dont come in chat fa serious talks with the exception of one salty gal i know. But what shocked me was the admin. Apparently he worships three ole matrus who I affectionately called Q pissy and Grindout Gal, and 'Light in the sky after in Rains' and when these ole matrus make noise about some guest he of course bans them, an afterwards screams in a sissy bungy diggin fashion. So at the end of a given day the chat is empty cus this ole apparently spolied sissy fella has banned everyone. To witness this level of male efeminism and immaturity made my stomach bubble resulting in me fleeing to the turlot bowl to get relief. Thus on being so badly victimized I made the declaration of never settin foot in that slup bucket chat , and to cling to BOL. Koodos BOL, and plz I dont like chattin to white ppl from foreign countries, they smell funny if ya know what I mean. Click here to Read more... More continues below Chat ad..... The Mayfield Hotel Brothel

by Ocean13 I read in this mornings 6/11/08 paper that the police have identified and making steps to close an illegal brothel in the West Bay St area in the vicinity of the police station. Chat with and View WebCams of Sexy Bahamians or View the Photo Galleries of more Bahamian Beauties {mosimage} And the question that comes to my mind, any virtually anyone else is, 'why?'. Ya know I always wonder why we try to portray ourselves as a bunch of Chistians who dont grind and drink wine. Like we a bunch of asexual ppl who have zero interest in pussy and cock, and really only happy serving the tourist. Or that men dont spend 90% of their waking moment tinking about pussy and when they gun get a sweet cum. Lets be real, a brother is vital to any society. {mosimage} A man works dam hard to not only provide for his family but for the nation's well being as well, and at the end of all his hard work all he demands is to see and feel up some cunny. Thats it, nothing more, nothing less. All he wants to do is feel up and smell some cunny and he is back for the next round of hard work and despar. Lets also be real to know that the conventional woman, aka, the wife, is unwilling to provdie a man with his needs. I say this becus a woman always make a man feel liek she is doing him a big ass favor or she is making a big sacrifice in pulling down her panties an showing the poor guy the goods, and god help him if he want stick it in. The dam sky would fall down and a big fukin lizard would come out the ground and eat him. So by having a brothel in place this helps everybody. The man can get his needs met and the woman can go about washing clothes and watching Young and Restless. Additional Comments by College Boy What kill me about this story in the paper, is that the brothel is said to specialize in Jamaican prostitutes because of their grinding expertise. I had to sit back and think about that. I never had a Jamaican girlfriend so I cant really comment but it seems like Jamaican gals gat something extra on dat! Dumb Man and Idiot Woman
Written by Admin
by Ocean13 Last week I met a friend of mine from several years back on the street casual like. We stared to talk about old times and how each others lives were unfolding. I told him that mine was going well and that I had some business ideas that I was following up on. I asked him about his marriage, in that I attended his wedding some 5 yrs ago. He was mad about the girl, ya know the nice sexy brown skin type, with the nice nails and hairdo. Chat with and View WebCams of sexy Bahamian Ladies or View the Photo Galleries of more Bahamian Beauties {mosimage} When I asked the question he hung his dead down somewhat, just to pause, and said that he left her. I was a bit stunned, and of course asked the question of 'why'. He then told me his side of the story (always two sides) of how he tried to provide for the lady and make her dreams come tru, u know, house car nice furniture and baby. But he said the girl never really bought into the marriage ting. Apparently he had married her young, he was 26 and she was 22. And at that age she was still into the partying phase of her life. Based on his accounts she found it hard to embrace marriage, u know staying home and cooking, and wanted to go out with her old friends as usual to all the seedy places like cocktails, etc. And on several occasions he heard little sip sips about her being pulled to the side and 'rapped' to by some guy. And of course u know nassau small, so whatever u do in them places becomes public knowledge. His wife had a cell phone and use to get some strange calls, and he even intercepted a call on his home phone from some strange guy who tot he was her brudda. And of course when it came time for sex, she was always tired, despite staying out late on the weekends and even coming home 'bushy' as if she was coming from an allnite grind session. So after months to a year of this he had concluded that she was doing the do on him. He had questioned her about it many times but she denied it, until he decided to scope her down. {mosimage} Apparently he had gotten wind that she was at a certain hotel out Carmichael rd. He followed up on the lead, and thru his source he learnt that she was in one of the rooms. Being the gentleman that he was he waited patiently in the parking lot, until he saw his lovely wife coming out with of course a man. He didnt approach her at the scene but politely let her go about her business to be questioned later. When he questioned her about her whereabouts she gave some story and in fact gave her friends as witnesses to her whereabouts. He called the friends to confirm this in her presence, which these lieing bitches did. All he could do was smile and he told her what he had scene. Of course she ran on with one story about how it was his fault and how she was lonely cus he worked so much. Which was pure horse shit. In thinking back, he remembered several occassions when his wife couldnt confirm her whereabouts but he never interrogated because he trusted her. What an ass. He soon decided to end the marriage, thankfully he hadnt committed to a mortgage with her as yet or gotten any major investments. He later found out that the fella who she was grinding was a longtime boyfriend, who never left the scene. Apparently the separation opened pandora's box, because ppl now felt free to tell him all what they had scene and knew, which was fucking alot. He even found out the wife at one time grinded one of his boys. He learnt this becus his wife decided to start flinging the mud. Luckily he held his head and moved on with his life. Unfortunately my friends story is not too rare. I for one was seeing a young gal who I later learnt was grinding some old fella, and not grinding, but f..king. I should have known cus she was loosy goosy if u know what I mean. My friend now is a confirmed bachelor and has fallen into the trap of being distrustful of ladies. He has relationships but never allows them to get really serious. I dont blame him, in fact, looking at the maturity of our ladies on this island, I would invite all men to do the same. I like my Bahamian and Caribbean chicks but they seem too stupid to maintain a wholesome relationship. So I advised my friend to maintain his stance, and just try to do the best he can to acheive his goals himself and dont rely on a woman for help or affirmation. And if she gets too demanding, simply show her ass the door, and keep the relationship professional, it should never be personal. Read more on the forums or post a comment below

Is Homosexuality the Best Option? WDH

Here are select posts from the BahamiansOnline.com forums: Is Homosexuality the Best Option by Ocean13 Ya know I have been debating this issue for a long time and I really wonder if in this new age of sexual empowerment if homosexuality is the best lifestyle for men, speciifically professional educated men. This issue on the surface sounds a big controversial but I am led to wonder why a solid base of professional men have opted for the homosexual lifestyle as opposed to strictly heterosexual, or pussy lovas. I am not going to delve deep into this topic now, but from an experiencial point of view I dont tink a woman fits too well into the confines of the needs of a profesisional man. Plz note that a professional man is usually unemotional, driven, works long hours, goal-oriented and very time consciious. He is not a lover of vacations or little pleasures, he eixst to satisfy measurables. Based on my conversations with women they want a man thats quite the opposite. Click here to Read more... I have to go on some kind of line just about everyday and I just dont get the way people think. I always make sure I keep some distance between me and the person in front of me. The other day I saw this guy on a line and he was so close to the lady that when he sneezed (another thing I can't stand) her whole shirt raised up - I couldn't believe it! Crime and Sex - Forum Excerpt
Written by Admin
by various forum members Interesting takes by several of our forum and chat members on the subject of Sex and Crime in our Bahamian society. Crime and Sex by Ocean13 I hate to go out on a limb on this, but I really have been giving this topic some serious thought. I wondered really how much of the crime in this country was sex or grinding related. I got a vague impression from the news media that gave specific details of murders committed and deduced that at least 30% of the crimes were crabbie or doggy related, or as we civilized ppl would say, 'domestic' crimes. And I would go a step further to say that crimes that have drug elements are also crabbie related. Post your thoughts in the comment box at the end of this page or click the forum links to respond directly. Ya know in this age of materialism where the fella have to have big bucks to get the best pussy, a striving young fella just cant raise that much disposable income. Cus ya know the young fella gat to pay he living bills (rent, water, lite) in his home or his mar home or both, and then have to pay for car bills and on an on. This leaves him noting to spend on woman. And we all know woman expensive. I hate to be the bearer of this news but pussy is more dear than the price of land. You dont have to go too far to prove this point that to look at the commercials on tv now, all a dem promoting dam diamonds and cars as gifts fa ya woman. Dam, can someone lend me couple hundred grands. So absent common sense, selling dope becomes a viable option to raise money, which in turn affords the young chap the finances to buy bread. I really am not stupid to believe that the price of pussy is going to go down anytime soon. Cus even bad pussy expensive. So can anyone give an idea as to how to get the price of pussy down, which in turn would make a significant dent in the amount of crime we having? Click here to respond directly to this on the forums.. Chat with others about Crime and Sex - Click Here Bahamas White & Yellow Pages : Find Anyone living in the Bahamas. Re: Crime and Sex by Mechanic First of all ma brother, pussy ain expensive, guys just lack self confidence or just want sum, so therefore they pay. u have guys with lall the money in the world who ain find tru love yet. u could plant a seed an wait for it to grow and bear fruit and enjoy everyday watching that tree grow and have the sweetest fruit, or u could buy a mature tree, plant it and deal with whateva fruit it gives u. its a matter of what u want. We all will end up paying directly or indirectly. there are many women out there dont care to have ya money, if u push up on a woman with the money issue it ga be bout money for those who dont have none. If u have to compete with a money man to get the same woman, SHE AIN WORTH IT!!! ladies same apply to u. but because we depend on money to win women we cant deal with the fact of her leaving and loving someone genuinely and broker than u. And to my women, u all do play an major part in all of this, stop leading brothers on to someplace u know doesn't exsist. this creates a big problem. Click here to respond directly to this on the forums.. Re: Crime and Sex by Sippin Tea I don't know what kind of females men get themselves mixed up with. In all of my relationships I have never taken any money from my boyfriend. Its fine if a guy wants to treat you to a nice night on the town. That then would be an appropriate time for him to pay for your meal etc. I always say that if I want something & I can't afford it, I will do without until I can get it. -I agree with Mechanic when he said that ladies and gents should stop falling in love with with someone who is already in a relationship. They never leave their gf or bf and if they do they won't come looking for you because they never had any respect for you. -No matter how good the Benz & Land Rover's look, i'm NOT interested. Those things eventually get old and need replacing. I don't care who doesn't believe that decent women exsist..... cause they do! They are the ones men probably wont look at cause her body parts aren't hanging out of her clothes! There is more to life than money and sleeping around. When you're focusing on the wrong things you'll never have peace & happiness. Click here to respond directly to this on the forums.. Re: Crime and Sex by Princess_242 ....Girl (Sippin Tea) you are one in a million, cause aint no man gone rub up on side a me and dont help me wit nothin. Everyone in chat should know by now that I am very much an independent lady but my daddy always told me if you dont spend ya man money some other girl will. So when my guy offers I take it, even if I dont have a bill I save it. Sometimes its a way a man shows his love. I See Why Married Men Fool Around...#3

by doocumbayagain Frequency. Yes, just how often can you get sex/intimacy in a marriage. Lets look at how easy it is to have time slip right on by. By a simple process of analysis we can see how easy it is to have the days and weeks pass by and nothing happens. Chat with and View WebCams of sexy Bahamian Ladies or View the Photo Galleries of more Bahamian Beauties Say your wife has her period coming on. Some women have premenstrual cramps and associate conditions the week before the actual event. If we attribute three days to this, the clock begins. A normal period is about seven days or one week. There is also post conditions which can run for anther 3 days. We are already at two weeks. If you have no time for three more days and don't feel like it for three more another week is gone and past. Combine this with not now for one day, later for another, wait awhile, put in an appointment that never will come, its too early , its too late, its not a good time, you have another week past. Follow this with, the children will hear on Saturday night because they are awake late, not on Sunday before church, I don't feel sexy on Mondays, man Tuesday, lets wait until the weekend, the middle of the week is going to make me tired, I perfer if we wait for Friday, man I tired this Friday you know. Guess what just happened a whole entire God given month just passed by and absolutely nothing happened. You know if this continues as my grand mother used to say "this is encouragement doing to a dog". Why bother with any day of the week or any place. Why wait for the period to over when there is sure to be something to replace it. Makes you wonder what did I get married for. Will I ever hold my wife in that special way that we counldn't seem to get enough of before we got married or during and just after the honeymoon. Where is the appetite that she had for me and love making. Am I now married to a different person who spends time by giving it away to nothingness. Do I exsist in her world. Am I in the twlight zone. Is this a nightmare and when will I wake up to find that the bad dream is finally over....       I See Why Married Men Fool Around... by doocumbayagain You ever heard a woman say I want to have sex? Most of the times if not all the times they can tell you why they cannot engage in sexual activity. Consider the long list and it is easy to see how this comes about that women dont want to really engage in sexual activity. I See Why Married Men Fool Around...

by doocumbayagain After having been married for almost 19 years, I now can say I see why married men fool around. Of course this is from my perspective and does not take into account those who do not have the same value system. In fact this is the very thing that acts as a catalyst to this entire quandry.  In other words this the thing that gets you in the shit in the first place.   Chat with and View WebCams of sexy Bahamian Ladies or View the Photo Galleries of more Bahamian Beauties From a male view the whole blame for our problem can only be placed squarely on the shoulders  our women, our wives. They dont seem to realize some plain and simple basic things about men. SEX. whats so hard about that now in another language that would mean six but in English which is the one we speak it means give me give me and eme some more. The greatest emphasis being placed on the more. We would like it twenty four seven and then some. We would like to have it in the morning before we arise from our beds, and before we take a shower, and before we have breakfast, and before lunch, and before dinner, and before going to bed and before we go to sleep. Please dont forget after all the aforementioned. We need this special three letter component in our lives. It helps us to be men. It helps us to relax, exercise and sleep. In fact as far as we are concerned thats the whole reason that we married you all in the first place. Cooking and cleaning comes after all our sexual needs are taken care of. We just simply cannot function with out and we would be better off starving and dead as long as we get our needs fulfilled. I am sure this is not that diffiult to figure out by now. Say S E X. Not hard to say but it sure seems hard for you to do. Of course we thought that you would know how to do it. S E X. Same every time.....  I See Why Married Men Fool Around... Buying Piece
Written by Admin
Submitted by: Admin Apr 18 '08 Ocean 13 raises this topic and Sippin Tea puts him in his place What are your views on the below? Here are select posts from the BahamiansOnline.com forums about a buying a woman's company: Re: Buying Piece by Sippin Tea A man can say he'd rather buy some time with a lady than to have a main girl but I think eventually he will become very lonely. Everyone wants to take the easy route. If a man says his lady nags constantly, maybe its because he isn't doing his part. A lady would anything to please her man ONLY if he's willing to do the same. So that nagging problem CAN be fixed along with other issues. Another thing, if you don't want a gold digger, DON'T DATE ONE. I don't see why men and women think that a man has to take care of his GIRLFRIEND (not wife), giving her money and supporting her. If you can't afford expensive gifts be real and tell her you can't or just be creative with your gifts. If she doesn't appreciate that then you know what you gotta do. Look for a woman and not a girl. There are many ways men you can avoid these problems but they are just lazy. Lastly, a woman has a right to think her goods is gold and if a man doesn't respect her, he isn't worth it. No one wants to know they are being used. Click here to Read more... Replies continues below Chat ad..... Additional Comments from our Forums: Buying Piece by Ocean13 Ya know its a sad shame that there is not an open market for men who are willing to purchase a piece of pleasure. Now the first tot that comes into your mind is mudda f, this nigga cant find a girl eh. And the answer to that question is, of course I can, but why should I. You see when u have a girl, coming along with the pussy is a bunch of other shit. Its like buying a sweet piece of porkchop but it have a bunch of fat around it. Keeping a woman these days is dam expensive. You have to tolerate her shit, she give u some when she feel like it, you have to buy her preseints every couple weeks, from valentines day, easter, her bday, her mudda bday, love tokens, just becuses gifts, xmas and new years. So lets do a simple callcuation, applying $150 per gift @ 8 per year yields $1200. And let me tell u this niggas spend five times that, so i being very conservative. And of course since you grind her u have to absorb her cost of living, from either paying the full or substantially all the rent, and the same goes for her car, the car maintenace, licensing and gas. Ya know I am not going to go into the depths of this cus rite now I getting depressed, but the gist of this is that the keeping of a woman aint worth it. Thus is my theme, buying piece. Ya know gals who sell on the side have been gettin a bad rap fa centuries, cus ya know woman is collude and have a secret code against making pussy available.. Click here to read more... School Violence

Submitted by: Admin Apr 5 '08 Forum excerps: Violence rears up again at one of the high schools. {mosimage} People need to understand that this is the state of government schools in Nassau. And trust me its only going to get worse. Lets be real, everybody sending they kids to private schools, even the ones who cant afford it. So the only kids left in government schools are the very impoverished kids who come from some frig up home conditions. Its like puttin a bunch of pitbulls in a cage, commonsense would tell you, that they gun tear each other apart. Well the good ting is that they killing each other, and ones that survive go to prison fa training to be better ppl (if thats possible). In order to investigate the origins of this negativity and male hatred I went on a private investigation and found the following to be sources: 1. The hateful ex-wife/ girlfriend. This is the principal cause of the male hatred. This person exemplifies scorn and generally takes on the position that since she cant have the man then she would do anything at her disposal, including her powerful tongue, to destroy the man. Thus generally puttin out all kind of vile, and heaven forbid if a child is involved. This hateful creature would go all out to portray the poor man as an irresponsible dead beat who has no love in his heart of his own flesh and blood. In cases I have been privy too, this is pure lies and bullshit, in that the men from my view often times go out their way to try to become a part of the kids life, but only to be met by this hateful creature who uses every opportunity to throw 'garbage' in the man's face, and using the child as a weapon to bring the man to dirt-level. And thus relishes the though of taking the man to court to claim for child support or some other frivolous complaint. Only to the satisfaction of this lieing monsta. 2. The Stupid Preacher. This idiot uses his public forum in the form of a pulpit to decry how wutless Bahamian men are and how the poor woman has to take the responsibility of childcare on their fragile shoulders. Further showing how men need to stop being boys and become like the men of old who love their families and put the god first. And even going as far as crying for the men of the nation. What a pile of hog mess. I know personally of men who go all out to take care of their kids, and really have only come across one such creature as this who goes around impregnating woman at whim and abandoning his responsibilities. Honestly i get the impression that we are a nation of men-haters or men-destroyers. So please comment, are we a nation of men-haters and are the majority of men dead beat as proclaimed? Family or Career - A Woman's Choice
Written by Admin
Submitted by: Admin Mar 27 '08 I came across a thought provoking forum post by a young lady who is current site member What are your views on the below? Here are a few select posts from the BahamiansOnline.com forums about a female's choice: Family or Career by Leesugar Few people realize that the choice of family or career is not an absolute choice. It is possible to have both at the same time. It is just a matter of adjusting your needs and expectations accordingly. Any career that forces you to choose between it and your family is clearly not the career for you. That does not necessarily translate into not having a career, just not having that particular career. Therefore would you sacrifice family for career? Click here to Read more... Additional Comments from our Forums: Re: Family or Career by PeasnRice I would not personally, but I'm a guy and dont have to ask my boss for 3 months off to have a baby and to ask them for time off to do school runs. Therefore my answer is easy to say NO. For females, I know the right answer is to say NO, but I'm sure many put career first by putting off having children because the boss told them they cant afford to have them be away 3 months and cant keep their job... THESE SCHEMING BAHAMIAN WOMEN
Written by Admin
by: Matrix I find it depressing to have to accept that we Bahamian men can no longer find real Bahamian women who will have our back and not dog us out by scheming. The reality is though we may have to accept this. Before I do however, I’d like to ask where are we men to look for a good Bahamian woman?????? Can any woman out there answer that? It use to be the church …( suck teeth, big joke). One thing I see though, society is finally seeing the truth that women are a big blame. I recently saw a documentary on National Geographic’s channel on human sexuality. The documentary stated that the belief that women are typically less promiscuous is logically incorrect, if they were less promiscuous, then who would the men cheat with?????? Personally I don’t see why   these mothers, sisters and aunts don’t relies the boys in their families are watching them and if these women who are their role models are doing this then those boys will think the man’s role is to do it back, and that all women are schemers. What I don’t understand though is if there is a man shortage why are woman cheating???? Shouldn’t they work harder to keep that man by treating men much better and encourage us to be good? Further more what is good because when I look in the “good book” I see men who are called saints cheating and scheming worst than some today. Take David for example, now I pick him because he was called a man of God’s own heart. This dude bone his general’s wife big her up then try make it look like the general big her. When that didn’t work he sent the general to the heaviest part of the war to make sure he get kill. ( WTH ). That’s only one, I could go on and on about the “good men”, but my question is why these woman expect us to be 1000% perfect today????? They want you to have a money tree, have a good job / work hard but still be home with them, buy them all kind of expensive jewelry, buy them a car, pay ALL their bills, don’t have sex with them / be sexually unsatisfied and still stay loyal, don’t ask them to cook / buy takeout every night, after all of that still find money to build them a house, then when all ya pay check gone, they asking other niggas ta buy them lunch. All a man want from a woman is; sex him feed him and deal with only him. Ladies is that too much to ask for???????   The alternative is the “independent woman” I don’t want none of them because Independent to a woman means she has the right to scheme. I enn fa dat. Bey it look like monogamy in the Bahamas is an endangered species on the verge of extinction, just like the idea of finding a good Bahamian woman.

Spring Breakers catch a Feel

Spring Breakers catch a feel. Submitted by: Young Bahamian Mar 25 '08 Today's Tribune had an interesting story and I was surprised to see it posted in the Forums today. It reported that three Spring Breakers (females) caught a taxi from a Cruise Ship and the taxi driver invited them to his home. So once they go to the taxi driver's home, he tried to touch one of them, and the young girl got scared and ran outside. She managed to flag down a passing motorist and was able to flee to safety. Well, I wasn't in their position, but why would a young lady agree to go to a stranger's house? I'm just putting that question out there. Here are a few select posts from the BahamiansOnline.com forums about this situation: SPRING BREAKERS UNEXPECTED FEEL by ELLA WOW I GUESS NOT ALL SPRING BREAKERS ARE EASY HAHA TAXI DRIVER TOOK 2 SPRING BREAKERS BY HIS HOUSE TO FEEL DEM UP AND DEY WENT 2 THE POLICE AND REPORTED HIZ ASS CHILE YA DONE KNO HOW AMERICANS LIKE SUE LMAO BY THE SOUND OF THIS THE TAXI DRIVER MUSSY OLD BIG N GREASY LOOKN FOR DEM 2 REPORT HIM QUICKLY SO LOL. Easter time - Haitians Plight
Written by Admin
Easter Time, how about the Haitians. Submitted by: Young Bahamian Mar 23 '08 It is Easter here in the Bahamas. Many Bahamians go about their annual Easter activities, worrying about getting fish to cook on Good Friday, Hot Cross Buns etc.. but do they spend some time thinking about the plight of their fellow Haitians? Many of them who live in squalid conditions right next door? What about the Haitians in the Mud in Abaco? The Haitians in the East and South of New Providence? The Haitians in Eleuthera? {mosimage} Maybe during this holy week we need to take a moment and reflect on how we can help or fellow Caribbean brothers and sisters. The Pastors in these churches should, instead of sending to Jamaica for gals who know how to "Belly Yuck and Dutty Wine",take a group of Bahamians and do a mission in Haiti. Lets see who the real pastors are. One Haitian spoke out about his treatment here in the Bahamas with the below: I was born to Haitian parents in the Bahamas, and i moved to Ft. Lauderdale Florida when I was 13 years old. I would say that i am and always will be HAITIAN. Becuz when i was younger, Bahamians didnt except me, even though i had some that were close friends, majority of them hated me because of me being born haitian. I fought in school frequently to defend my parents honor becuz of the things they said about them. Many other haitian kids born there pretended to be bahamian because they didnt want to be on the receiving end of everyone's hostility. I carried that burden proudly because my parents taught me from when i was young to not deny who i am and a Haitian is who i am. I may have had the bahamian accent, but i was never a bahamian. I am proud to say that i am Haitian. Its my heritage. By Henry108 Here are a few select posts from the BahamiansOnline.com forums that illustrate the plight and the fate of Haitians in our little society: Re: What is Prejudice? by Mad Sex Game da Don This is one topic that has become a very touchy issue. As a Bahamian/Haitian or Haitian/Bahamian or one of DEM MIXED BREED i say that the continuous influx on ppl of different culture has already had a great effect on the Bahamian culture. If alot of Bahamians or persons born in the country we would already see that this is not only a haitian issue, though alot of heads point our focus to the haitians as being a major part to this situation. If the average Bahamian drives around nassau, we would find that though haitian population has become a majority their effect is only in small areas. Just look at who is opeing up a business all over the bahamas. We have a silent giant who really dont want you in thier store but yet need our money. Click here to Read more... But we in the ass-part of an invasion. The foundation for the invasion happen in the dam 1970s when all them Hyshins swim here from Duvalier time and now we in the tail end. The next wave of the invasion is our assy Bahamian women feeling no weight in gettin big-up fa the Haitians and having more mixed breeeds kids, who ofcourse have total allegiance to they muddaland and their country-men. But honestly, if you guys have read my piece on 'the secret sex lives of women' you would see that the one common denominator in all this fuckery is a woman who cant seem to keep her leg close. Lets be real, the only fingers we pointing at now is at the gf real bf who get insanely jelus and in a jelus rage grapped his sword (gun) and sought out his love rival. So at the end of the day, the love rival get some holes in his body and the bf gets sent to the hoosgow (prison) fa attempted murder (and yaknow he gun be there for a dam while so he need to greese up his ass). Buuuuuut, the hot ass chick gun be back on the street doing this same shit again cus she cant keep her leg close. Ya know, I dont know why ppl dont point the finger where it belongs, the young men catching all the hell. Let me end on a real note and say that women on the whole liove dick, especially young gals. Bahamian Women need the Belly Yuck

Pastor Tells Bahamian Women they need to Belly Yuck to keep their men. Submitted by: Admin Mar 18 '08 This has been the buzz of the town for days now as a local Nassau pastor brought in a Jamaican singer Macka Diamond to tell Bahamian Women they need to do the Belly Yuck to kep their men. {mosimage} Here are snippets of the story from our forums. WDF.. yall see how yall church just becoming just like an entertainment concert right?? This pastor say he bring one Jamaican gal to show Bahamian gals how to keep their man by performing the bellow yuck on dem WDFFF.. This just goes to show that more and more church is just another entertainment venue for these women on the weekends.. From the Nassau Guardian: City of Praise Church pastor Arthur Duncombe drew the ire of many Christians after he brought a popular Jamaican female deejay to The Bahamas to allegedly demonstrate the dance move known as the "Belly Yuck" to his congregation Pastor Duncombe was a guest on Joy FM's "Joy In The Morning" show with Kevin Harris, last week, where he defended his actions, saying that teaching his congregation the "Belly Yuck" was a means of helping them to keep their husbands from being enticed away. Jamaican female performer "Macka Diamond", a dance hall singer known for the popular song "Bu'n Him" was the deejay at the seminar entitled "Angels By Day, Monsters By Night" conference held for married and engaged couples of Pastor Duncombe's church on Ajax St. Story Continues below Chat ad..... There are additional Comments from our Forums: Re: The Belly Yuck by Oceans13 Lets be real, we have some christian woman who act like a piece of plywood in the bed, and god help if u ask them to suck ya wood. That is why after 5 years of marriage the men get bored and find one junglist. Sex is the ultimate beast and once a man horny that feeling dont go away. I can be upfront an tell you that if a woman just lieing on her back like plywood, the man will never be satisfied. He will always feel like their is someting missing. Unfortunately after the fella has had enuff of boring sex and sneaks outside the home, the end-bell is sounded. Cus more than likely he gun come across one junglist gal or one hot gal who gun do a hand-stand on the wall and spread eagle fa him. And thats just the start of it. And when that piece of sex is done, you can bet to 'betsy' he gun be back and back until the wife ass sailing out the house and the junglist move in. This happens more than ppl would like to tink. So I applaud this rev fa doing this, cus woman need to know that the only ting plywood good for is to put ova ya windowm when hurricane come or cum. Click to read more.. Are you satisfied? Pt 1

Millions start their morning with no desire, purpose, or ambition for what they do every day. Guana Cay Controversy
Written by Admin
Guana Cay is internationally recognized as a unique marine and land environment and boasts one of the most picturesque and pristine traditional old Bahamian communities in the Abacos. Story does not represent the views of BOL editors & webmaster Chat about the Guana Cay Controversy - Click Here Bahamas White & Yellow Pages : Find Anyone living in the Bahamas. Despite this, in February 2005 the PLP Cabinet, under the direction of PM Perry Christie, and after years of secret planning and negotiations with developers, and following its now disgraced Anchor Project policy, dictatorially and without consultation with the residents of Guana cay, signed a Heads of Agreement with Bakers Bay, a foreign real estate developer, to allow a tax free $500,000,000 hotel, residential, golfing and the largest marina project in the Bahamas. Press Meeting. Since then the residents of Guana Cay mounted and continue to fight for their rights. They believe that the golf course will destroy the rich marine reef life. The exclusively affluent and foreign gated residential community will destroy one of the few remaining forests, containing a fabulous variety of flora and fauna, in the Northern Bahamas. The marina dredging and silting will destroy Joe’s Creek, and the hundreds of ancient mangroves which protect against hurricane storm surges and are the nurseries for the marine life on which the fisherman on the island depend. Their traditional crabbing and hunting grounds have been lost, as the former PM Perry Christie agreed to give it to the developers for $1 per acre or some other secret amount. Despite elections promises to the contrary, the FNM, according to the Developers, has issued the Crown Land Deed to the Developers of the last remaining 179 acres of Crown (public) Land left on the island. There will be no room for the local community to grow in the future. The 150 Bahamians will be surrounded by over 700 foreigners. Perversely….the Developers, who only paid $1 per acre, have now offered to sell 1/3 of an acre of our Bahamian Crown land back to Bahamian citizens for $50,000 or $150,000 per acre, thereby making a swift profit of 149,999%. What were the PLP and what are FNM Cabinet ministers thinking? The development will be completely out of scale with the small island community, dwarfing it in size. The construction of the development is expected to take 10 years, and will require hundreds of transient foreign laborers. The social, economic and environmental life of this old Bahamian community is being destroyed. The local citizens are becoming foreigners in their own land. In Save Guana Cay Case number 1, the Association obtained an injunction (after several appeals in the courts in the Bahamas) from the Privy Council in London, stopping the development until the trial. In October 2006, at the trial, acting Justice Carroll, in the Supreme Court, ruled that the Heads of Agreement was valid and allowed the development to continue. Save Guana Cay appealed and is waiting for a Court of Appeal decision. At the Court of Appeal hearing the Government and Developers argued that even if the Heads of Agreement was invalid they had received all necessary permits from the necessary government departments, and were therefore not relying upon the Heads of Agreement as authority to proceed. In their pre election promises, the FNM party promised freedom of information, promotion of local rights and preservation of Crown Land for Bahamians. Since the FNM became the government, Save Guana Cay have repeatedly asked the FNM to make full disclosure of all of the permits. Despite their promises the FNM has failed and refused to give any information and Bakers Bay claims that the FNM government has given 150 acres of Crown Land to the developers. The citizens of Guana Cay, trusting the FNM, are appalled by the FNM’s betrayal, even though 90% voted for the FNM in the general elections. by http://www.saveguanacayreef.com/ Click Here for more Bahamian and Bahamas Blogs but before you leave, drop me a quick comment or two below..

Bahamas Independence Day 1973
Written by Admin
As a young adult. I am happy to say I am proud to be Bahamian. I am proud of our history of non-violence and our beautiful people and country. Lets go back in time and revisit that historic Bahamian Independence day. Bahamas White & Yellow Pages : Find Anyone living in the Bahamas. Bahamas Life & Photos : Moving to the Bahamas & Photo Services. The facts: The Bahamas achieved independence from Britain July 10, 1973, and was now a fully self-governing member of the Commonwealth and a member of the United Nations, the Caribbean Community and the Organization of American States. Lady Pindling dancing a calypso with HRH Prince Charles July 10th 1973. Pindling declares Independence! Bahamas Independence Day march. I found a great piece of that historic day at the Time magazine website: At precisely one minute past midnight this Tuesday, the Union Jack will be lowered in Nassau's Clifford Park. Then, as fireworks thunder and crowds cheer, the black, gold and aquamarine Bahamian flag (the colors symbolize the people, the sun and the sea) will be hoisted into place, highlighting a boisterous, twelve-day celebration that will mark the independence of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas after nearly a quarter-millennium of British rule. To stage this gaudiest of galas, Prime Minister Lynden O. Pindling's government spent some $2,000,000. The week leading up to Independence Day was an eclectic mix of regattas, steel bands and snake dancers that wound down Bay Street, Nassau's main financial district. To help him celebrate, Pindling invited the heads of 62 nations; most accepted. Britain's Prince Charles, the official guest of honor, arrived last week to ceremoniously turn the islands over to the 185,000 Bahamians. White Anger. Independence will create its own problems for the Bahamas. Prime Minister Pindling, 43, a London-educated lawyer who was over whelmingly re-elected last September on a platform of immediate independence, personifies the newly proud and somewhat militant mood of his nation. The cornerstone of his program is "Bahamanization," which is an attempt to push more Bahamian blacks, who comprise 85% of the population, into white-collar jobs. This policy has meant that foreigners now find it extremely difficult to obtain work permits, though it used to be a routine matter. Moreover, in order to hire a foreigner, employers must first agree to train a black to take over the job eventually. This has brought an increase in the number of blacks holding higher-paying jobs (particularly in banking), but has angered many white businessmen. They claim that they have trouble finding qualified black trainees, and that they cannot hire more competent foreign help because of work-permit restrictions. As a result, some whites have left the islands, creating a shortage of trained manpower. Fearing that Pindling power is synonymous with black power, some white-owned banks have moved to tax-sheltered havens such as the nearby Cayman Islands, which are still under British rule. The net result has been a slight drop in employment, a sharp drop in the construction industry, and the threat of a further white exodus. Some investors note that many angry young Bahamians are not at all enthusiastic about serving tourists, and frequently make no effort to hide the fact. Yet tourism, which earned $285 million last year, accounts for 73% of the Bahamas' gross revenues. In the face of that hard reality, Pindling observes that no matter how much Bahamians may resent working for white tourists, it would be madness to lose such a lucrative business. T.B. Donaldson, chairman of the Bahamian Monetary Authority, points out that the Bahamians had five foreign-owned banks in 1967; now they have 120. "We're not jungle bunnies," says Donaldson. Translation: regardless of their resentment, Bahamians will not be so intoxicated by independence that they are going to forget that business is the lifeblood of sovereignty. For Entrepreneurs: Coming Up With a Business Idea:
Written by Admin
GETTING STARTED: You've decided that you want to start your own business, but you don't know what the business is going to be. You're looking for a great idea. The best advice is to being by breaking down the bigger picture into more manageable pieces. First, look at your own skills and knowledge. Consider your present occupation, and whether you could do your present job working for yourself rather than being employed by someone else. Successful businesses are frequently started by people with practical experience in the type of work that they new venture is entering. They go into business because they decide that they want more independence in their working lives. Going into business in an industry where you already have a network of customers, suppliers and in-depth knowledge of the market can be a great advantage. Of course, it may be the case that you feel that the skills you have are already oversupplied. If this is the case, it's possible that there's no room in the marketplace for yet another joiner. Or it may be that you simply do not want to carry on doing the same thing for yourself that you've done for others in the past. It's natural for people to grow, change and want different things for themselves - and starting a business doing something you're bored with is a recipe for disaster. You perhaps then need to think of ways in which you could modify the skills and experience that you've acquired while working for somone else. Take a careful look inside yourself; it could be that your personality or strengths suggests a business idea.  People with good communication skills and charm naturally gravitate to sales and marketing, for example. No matter what, though, a passion to solve a problem, to be connected to an insdustry or a product you beleive in, or to fill a need that is not being met adequately are going to be keys to any entrepreneur's success.  How do I identify new ideas? Try brainstorming with friends and relations to see if you can identify any totally new ideas and needs that Bahamian consumers have that arent being addressed. There are hundreds of opportunities for entirely new products or services --  the Bahamas is full of niches to be filled. According to the U.S. government, The U.S. currently has 80% of the import market share to the Bahamas ( http://www.buyusa.gov/caribbean/en/othercontact_bahamas.html ), which isnt surprising given that the Bahamians import the majority of consumer goods. Our main industries are tourism and financial services. There are thousands of opporunties just waiting to provide the ever-growing populations of Bahamians in our 700 islands with basic services and products that dont fall under those categories. Who knows, you may have an idea for a simple device which you think poeple might use. It might be worth commissioning a search at your local patent office to see if anyone has thought of the idea already.  CAN I LOOK AT AN EXISTING IDEA IN A NEW WAY? Contrary to popular beleif, there are few original ideas. Most successful businesses come from modifying, refining, or rethinking an existing business idea. Most importantly, it's a valuable exercise to set time aside when you (and your business partners) can think about innovative product ideas. Try to think laterally about existing products or materials you know about - can things you use every day be used in a new way for a new purpose? Great ideas dont come overnight - take heart - Post-it notes resulted from a glue product that went wrong! WHAT GOODS OR SERVICES COULD I PROVIDE LOCALLY? Think of problems and difficulties you've experienced in getting things for your home, garden, or at work, or in your leisure activities. Analyse what the problems were which caused you most inconvenience or cost you the most to put right. Thing about times when you've urgently required a service, and then found that it was not available or the service that was available only got you half way to fixing the problem. Alternatively, you might be able to think of parts or products that are hard or impossible to obtain locally. Did you know that the Bahamas import over 90% of all their consumer goods? How's THAT for a wide open market! Think about the things you and your neighbours complain about the most frequently. Listen to poeple talking at the gym or in the supermarket checkout line. Then ask yourself whether there is any way to providing a local service or product for any of these markets and you may just stumble on your next great idea. The bottom line...Be a problem solver and people with the problem will seek you out! WHAT GOODS OR SERVICES COULD I PROVIDE TO LOCAL COMPANIES? Do some research among local companies. Find out whether there are any goods or services that they have difficulty in obtaining. A group of local businesses out west in a development that just went up might have hundreds of new employees that need a place to eat at lunch, for example. Perhaps it would be a good place for a restaurant with well priced lunches? There may be room in the market for a messenger or delivery service linking the new businesses with others downtown. The lesson here is that the first people who identify opportunities like these are usually the ones who become established the quickest and thrive because they have the smallest amount of competition. TOURISM IS THE BAHAMAS' PRIMARY INDUSTRY - HOW DO I FOUND OUT MORE ABOUT OPPORTUNITIES FOR TOURISM OR LEISURE BUSINESS IN MY AREA? The type of tourism business you consider will depend on whether the area is more urban and developed (i.e. areas such as Nassau or Freeport) or rural (like the out-islands), whether it's a popular tourist region, and the demographics of the local population. Also, it pays to go online and do research about what kindof activities are being pushed by U.S. and other companies trying to attract tourists to their new Bahamian developments -- A business, like boating & fishing tours in Andros, may thrive in the next 5 to 10 years because U.S. hotel chains have started spending millions in advertising on the web to draw thousands of fishing enthusiasts to Andros because of our fantastic bone fishing. The takeaway here is -- Find out what the new trends are in toursim and travel and try to capitalize on the work of others. Hotels and Airlines especially are trying their hardest to market themselves to the world to get people to use their services - what better way to start a business than to provide a service that tourists are already coming to our country to find! MAKING IT HAPPEN: Entrepreneurs are the type of people who lose sleep over their ideas - they lie awake at night deaming of the chance to do something new, to enjoy their life doing something that makes them excited to wake up in the morning and, most of all, to live an all-round independent lifestlye (financially & spiritually). If you're an entrepreneur at heart, you have countless options. Here are some more things to consider when you get to the point where you want to really go for it... TURN YOUR HOBBY INTO A BUSINESS: You may have skills that you acquired as a hobby, but which could form the basis for a business. For example, if you like gardening, you might consider starting a garden design or landscaping business (Lord knows there are tons of places and communities in this country that could use a touch-up). If you're good at cooking that good-ol' Bahamian cuisine we all love, you could think about starting a catering service for people entertaining at home. WORK FROM HOME: This is a very common dream, especially if you're a parent, and consequently at home at lot of the time (if space allows). It might be possible for you to set aside space to sew, knit or perhaps make soft toys, for example. I bet you'd be surprised at how high the demand for local Bahamian craft is on the Internet through auction sites like e-Bay (if you've never heard of e-Bay, dont worry I'll be writing a lot of articles in the future on how Bahamians can set up their own Internet Businesses and make a killing - stay tuned and check my blog often - http://bahamiansonline.blogspot.com ). If handicraft isnt your thing, you might consider one of the many increasing opportunities for people like you who do office work from home, using a computer and a modem - many companies are figuring out that they can cut costs tremendously, and keep the morale of their employees high by affording them the opportunity to work from home on their own schedules. This can include anything from word processing letters and keeping accounts up to date, right through to free lance writing and consulting. BUY AN EXISTING BUSINESS: Another option is to consider buying an existing business. However, if you do, make sure you find out why the owner is selling - you owe that much to yourself. Even if the seller is retiring, make sure you find out why it wasnt worth his or her while to continue the business's accounts, and that you understand them thouroughly. Businesses for sale are often advertised in the local paper -- make sure to look out for Thursday's - that's the day that the most readers pick up the paper because of the obituaries (sad, but true, Bahamians love the 'sip that comes along with death)- the advertisers know this and will most likely advertiese on days when readership is highest. FINAL WORD: WHAT TO AVOID: Not giving it enough time - dont expect an idea to come to you in a flash; sometimes ideas take time to develop. Also remember that the time you spend on planning will be time well spent when you finally do come up with a great idea. Not doing enough research - if you fail to do any research, you'll have far less chance for success. Be prepared. Research will save you time and money in the long run. What Now? Anna and Shane
Written by Admin
What I find soooooooo funny about the Anna and Shane drama is: What happened to the bribery charges levied against the Minister, remember Anna gave him $10,000 and a Expensive watch. Why was Anna allowed to get and keep whatever permit she applied for and was it legal I thought you had to give good reasons to be here? Is bribing an official still an offense in this country? My elderly Mom has alzheimer and I needed a live in maid for her, but Bahamians don't like to work in other Bahamians homes, they prefer the hotels, The Ministry of Immigration gave me such a hard time about hiring a foreign maid I had to put her in a nursing home, wish I had the in road to the Minister. What happened to the allegation of misappropriation of funds at the Ministry of Housing, and the disappearance of fund from NEHMA, when he was Minister of Housing? I could care less who Mister Gibson sleeps with, once it is not me, but I would like to know what happened to the other issues that started this whole mess. Makes you wonder what this whole thing is about, while we keep talking about Mr. Gibson's sex life he seems to be getting away with not answering to the more important issues. Who is keeping the real stuff hidden?

Looking for a Dream Bahamian Man - Love for the Bahamas
Written by Admin
Greetings from America! My name is Nicole Jean.  I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.  It's VERY cold and dreary here.  I am looking at the Pittsburgh skyline from my window.  This view used to take my breath away...now I look at it in disgust.  I went downtown today and I was FREEZING in the flurries of snow as I trudged through the slushy sidewalks.  I hate the disposition of the people that live here!  They scurry along their way not caring about anyone else but themselves with HORRIBLE looks on their faces!  Pittsburghers have HORRIBLE attitudes.  Add me as a Friend at my Profile Nobody smiles...ever. WAY different than the days before today! I recently traveled to The Bahamas as part of the TripSpa Million Dollar Challenge. I just got back and I am LONGING for de islands already, mon! J I was in the final 50 out of 11,000 who entered a 12 week challenge to lose weight.  I made diet, exercise, and TrimSpa X32 a part of my life and I lost 74 pounds in less than a year.  When they called to tell me I won the trip to The Bahamas, I must admit I was excited about meeting Miss Anna Nicole Smith when I got there because she has been such an inspiration to me, and sadly, we all know she died 8 days before I got there.  The trip ended up being a celebration of success as well as a mourning time for Miss Anna as well.  The beautiful weather, the FABULOUS people, the positivism, and the beautiful crystal clear water were just a FEW of the MANY wonderful things that won me over!  Everyone is so much more pleasant! I have to say I HATE to be COLD, so the fact that I could wear a tank top and shorts in the winter made me particularly excited as well! I was in The Bahamas for 8 days and 7 nights.  This was enough to change my life, and I will NEVER be the same.  I cried all the way home because I DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE.  I HATE IT HERE.  I LOVE IT THERE. I sit here and realize there is nothing here for me.  I moved here from a small town with my ex-boyfriend 3 years ago and it ended badly a year ago and I am still here.  Don’t want to retreat home…back to the small town…because there are NO opportunities there for jobs AT ALL.  I hate my job here.  I am a tax-preparer.  People are miserable when it comes to taxes.  Ya’ll wouldn’t know cuz you don’t pay them, but it SUCKS to pay taxes and file them as well is just a pain.  I am by myself with my 4 cats and my fish.  I am lonely and miserable.  I believe that everything happens for a reason.  This trip is EXACTLY what I needed. I am a positive person by nature and it seemed Pittsburgh had drained ALL of my aspirations. I TOTALLY understand why Miss Anna wanted residency in The Bahamas.  I fell in love with the country too! :)  I whole-heartedly believe Miss Anna Nicole sent me there to see that life really can be beautiful, and that I don’t have to stay here and be miserable and lonely if I really don’t want to.     I am looking for a BEAUTIFUL, nice, intelligent, funny Bahamian to share my life with.  I’m not particular about how old or young.  I want to live the Bahamian Way and maybe even make a difference while I am there.  I want to be active in the community.  Would like to stay near Nassau because I would like to volunteer at the humane society near there…Among many other activities in which I would like to be involved!  We would have SO MUCH FUN! I am 28 years old. I am 5'00" 128 pounds. I have blonde hair and green eyes.  I am white, but people mistake me for "mixed" cuz I am "exotic" looking....or so they say :)  I think of me as ordinary, but my Mama says I have a little bit of Indian in me too, so that can’t hurt.  I will not admit that I am beautiful, but I will say that I do not think I am ugly. :) I love animals. I don’t eat red meat.  I can cook great healthy meals.  I enjoy working out and I am fond of walking.  I like the simple things, and I don’t like to be rushed.  I found myself VERY comfortable in the Bahamas on that issue! I enjoy organizing things. I actually would like to open a professional organizing business one day.  I have been told that I am quite good at it. I have 2 Bachelors Degrees of Science. One is in Speech Communication and one is in Theatre.  I am currently working online to obtain my Masters of Science Degree in Business Management, so I am always trying to move forward and better myself. I LOVE to live life to the fullest, and have no regrets in my last 28 years on this earth.  But I have many stories to tell.  I may be young but I have lived a long life. J   I can entertain for quite awhile on my stories alone J I’m looking to move IMMEDIATLEY as long as I can bring my cats and my fish. J   The less time spent here, the better. I have been told a million times that I am a very "intriguing lady", so I know I have a lot to offer.   I am very confident that I will find the Bahamian Man of My Dreams.  Bahamas! ……………….Take me AWAY!  J Love, Nicole Jean xoxo P.S. If you are a nice guy please leave me a comment below, Add me as a friend or contact me via Private Messaging on this site. Stay tuned for more photos and my regular blog! I'm so excited!

Bahamian Internet History
Written by Admin
I remember typing in the word Bahamas into the early internet search engines back in 1995 or was it 1996. What a difference 10 years has made. At that time I was only to find a handful of Bahamian sites like www.Bahamas.com which seems to be run by a Public Relations firm/consultant and there was the old Bahamanet.com
