Nearly four years ago, I logged into a Yahoo chat-room after a dinner date with friends. I never imagined that a few clicks of my mouse would lead me to the man I would one day marry.

How I married someone I met on the Internet

Nearly four years ago, I logged into a Yahoo chat-room after a dinner date with friends. I never imagined that a few clicks of my mouse would lead me to the man I would one day marry. Yet sure enough, that's what happened and today we still get raised eyebrows whenever people ask us how we met.

Interestingly enough, I think we might have met later on in life. I had planned to take courses at universities in Montreal and then go to New York for performance arts. He lived in Montreal and planned to go to New York to pursue music. But before that happened, we met on-line through cyber-friends and found ourselves chatting away for 18 hours at a time feeding a wonderful friendship that turned into love. After a few visits back and forth, we decided to get married. Fast-forward to today, where we wake up with our 15-month-old daughter dancing on the bed with Dora the Explorer and Elmo from Sesame Street. Then around lunch time when we log on to Yahoo Messenger again just to say hi or to remind each other to pick up groceries or pay a bill before coming home. Hard to believe that it all started on a computer a few years ago huh?

Well I can say that i have had an intenet relationship and it worked out fine but u need to think that if u want to date someone off the internet dont think of it as a internet session think of it as a get together where ppl come to chat and talk shyt and have fun with each other think of it as like a club or some sort of entertainment where alot of ppl hang out and fellows i know that u go to clubs not only to smoke drink and have fun u go to club to look for women also and ladies i know u do the same thing to not just to dress up to be sexy u dress up to go to the club to find man also so think of the internet like a club i dont find nottin wrong with intetnet relationships wwll that is my five cents on this topic like ppl say it is your taughts and facts that count!
