Samatha's Bio: Facts about this Bahamian Brit

01.Samantha Lamb affectionately called “Manta/Sam” was born in England to a British father and Bahamian mother originally from the island of Andros. At the tender age of one, both parents decided to move back to the Bahamas to raise their youngest daughter of two, who would eventually transform from a tomboy into a local bombshell.

02. Sam tried modeling as a hobby at age 14 and 10 years later, she practically eats, sleeps and lives fashion. Numerous local fashion shows were her start, which were quickly joined by several photo shoots, promotional modeling and finally big screen motion pictures. At 19 years of age, Sam was casted as a “Day Player” in the movie “Into the Blue” (editor's comment: I dare say she over shadowed Jessica Alba). She impressed the producer & director of the film so much with her professionalism, beautiful ethnic features and shapely slender figure that she was encouraged to move to L.A. to pursue acting & modeling. “After the Sunset” which was also shot in Nassau, also featured her talent as an extra.

03. Her agent is Oil Coakley, of Olin Sha’s Models & Talents (www.oilinshamodels.com) and he has done an exceptional job of molding this girl into a lady. Mr. Coakley recently showcased her as a guest model and host of the 2nd annual “High Fashion Fantasy Fashion Extravaganza 2007”. Sam is a fashion icon and super sexy model by her own rite and she will no doubt grace the covers of high fashion magazines & fashion capitals runways one day.
